Prep Time: fifteen minutes
Cooking time: In all, thirty minutes
Serving: 4
Items
- ½ cup Frank’s or other Buffalo wing sauce
- One tablespoon of melted butter
- One tsp honey
- One two-pound head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- ¼ cup flour for all purposes
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- one tsp powdered garlic
- ½ teaspoon Lawry’s or other seasoned salt
- one-half teaspoon paprika
- drizzling of optional buffalo wing sauce
Guidelines
Mix honey, butter, and spicy sauce; whisk to blend well.
Thoroughly mix flour, cornstarch, paprika, seasoning salt, and garlic powder in a separate bowl. After tossing the cauliflower florets until they are all coated, gradually sprinkle the flour mixture.
Set the air fryer’s temperature to 390°F, or 195°C. Apply olive oil spray to the frying basket or line it with parchment paper.
To ensure that the cauliflower florets crisp up rather than becoming soggy, In a single layer, place the floret in the air fryer basket. Be careful not to overcrowd the basket.
Shake the basket many times throughout the 10 to 15 minutes of air fry time, or until the florets are gently toasted. Crispy without being mushy or overcooked is the goal. The size of the air fryer will determine whether you need to cook in batches. Depending on the size and type of your air fryer, the time may change.
When the cauliflower comes out of the air fryer, spray it lightly with buffalo wing sauce, if you’d like. Accompany it with your preferred creamy dipping sauce.
