preparation
- Cooking Time: ten minutes
- In total, twenty minutes
- 4 servings
Ingredients: 4 (5-ounce) center-cut, boneless pork chops that are 1 inch thick.
- One tsp Cajun spice
- 1 ½ cups croutons with cheese and garlic
- Two big eggs
- cooking oil
Guidelines
- Set an air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, or 200 degrees Celsius.
- Put the pork chops on a platter and sprinkle Cajun seasoning over both sides.
- In a small food processor, pulse croutons until finely chopped; transfer to a shallow plate. Beat eggs lightly in a different shallow dish. One at a time, coat each pork chop on both sides with crouton breading after dipping it in beaten egg and allowing any excess drip off. Transfer the breaded chop, unstacked, to a dish. Continue with the remaining chops. Apply cooking spray to the chops.
- After applying frying spray to the air fryer basket, place the chops inside in a single layer. The air fryers size will determine whether you need to make two batches.
- Cook for five minutes in the preheated air fryer. Then, turn the chops over and, if necessary, spritz them again with cooking spray. Cook for an additional five minutes. When placed in the middle of the chops, an instant-read thermometer should read 145 degrees Fahrenheit (63 degrees Celsius).
- Enjoy while hot!

Recipe Advice
Experiment with other croutons’ flavors to provide some diversity.
While the remaining chops are air-frying, keep the chops warm in an oven set to the lowest temperature.
Increase the cooking time by one minute for thicker chops. Reduce cooking time by 1 minute for thinner chops.
