Using your air fryer to air-fry steaks is quite simple. These are on par with a grilled steak. Before you go to work in the morning, you can marinate the rib-eyes, then cook them at night.
Preparation
Five minutes for preparation
15 minutes for cookings
Two servings
Ingredients:
- 2 sliced 1-1/2-inch-thick rib-eye steaks
- Half a cup low-sodium soy sauce
- Half a cup of olive oil
- Four tsp of grill spice (like Montreal Steak Seasoning®)
Guidelines
Put the steaks in a big resealable bag along with the spice, olive oil, and soy sauce. Give meat at least two hours to marinate.
After taking the steaks out of the bag, throw away the marinade. Brush off extra oil from steaks. Pour one tablespoon of water into the air fryer pan’s bottom to keep it from smoking while cooking. Set the air fryer’s temperature to 400°F, or 200°C.
Medium-rare steaks need to be preheated for 7 minutes, then flipped over and cooked for an additional 7 minutes. Cook for 8 minutes on each side at medium.
Before serving, let the steaks sit for roughly five minutes.
