5 Easy 5-Ingredient Healthy Dinners

Complicated recipes or lengthy shopping lists are not necessary for healthy eating. With just five primary ingredients (plus basic cupboard essentials like oil, salt, and pepper), you can quickly prepare these five dinners without compromising on taste or nutrition.

 1. Garlic with lemon  Asparagus and Salmon

 Ingredients: olive oil, lemon, garlic, asparagus, and salmon fillets.

 Directions:  Arrange the salmon and asparagus on a baking pan, rub some olive oil over them, squeeze some lemon over them, add some minced garlic on top, and bake for 15 minutes at 400°F.

 2. Sweet Potato & Chicken Skillet

 Ingredients: Olive oil, spinach, sweet potatoes, chicken breast, and onion.

 Directions:  Chop the sweet potatoes and chicken, sauté in olive oil until it becomes golden brown, then add the onion and swirl until it softens. Finally, stir in the spinach until it wilts.

 3. Stir-fried Shrimp and Zucchini

 Ingredients: bell pepper, garlic, shrimp, zucchini, and soy sauce (or coconut aminos).

 Directions:  Add chopped zucchini and bell pepper, stir-fry until soft, combine with soy sauce, then sauté shrimp and garlic until pink.

 4. Lettuce Wraps with Turkey Tacos

 Ingredients: shredded cheese (or dairy-free cheese), lettuce leaves, cherry tomatoes, taco spice, and ground turkey.

 Directions:  Top with cheese and chopped cherry tomatoes after browning the turkey with taco seasoning and spooning it onto the lettuce leaves.

 5. Egg Fried Rice with Veggies

 Ingredients include soy sauce, cooked rice, eggs, assorted vegetables, and green onions.

 Directions:  In a skillet, scramble eggs, set aside, then add rice and vegetables, mix in soy sauce, and garnish with chopped green onions.

 In conclusion, you can prepare a tasty, nutritious supper any night of the week with just five basic items.  Keep this list handy for hectic nights when you still want to eat healthily.
